Yeah, it's a dark grey paper (Sold here: [link] the name is "smoke")

It isn't well lit though, so it's darker that real life. After shooting the skunk piece outside today, I think that's what I'm going to stick with from now on. It makes things much much more true to life.

Hmm that's interesting. :) I use normal white paper but I used dark umber as my primary shading colour when I'm working with crayon, so it looks more dreary and real. It works really well for me.

Yeah, see, I never use white paper, I prefer toned papers.

White is for sketching ;)
